Week 1, Things 1-3 Life Long Learners

I read about the program and enjoyed watching the video. Things really are changing. After reading abut life long learners, I thought ...Interesting. I found myself thinking that it is easy for me to read about and discover my own answers. I have a harder time asking for help from others.

That is because you are usually the helper, not the helpee! It is great that you are willing to spend some time learning about new tools we may someday be using in the office. Maybe next year we can all take that SQL server class together.

Somewhere along the road you were probably taught to be self sufficient and you were a good learner. Somewhere along the road, you probably had a great sense of satisfaction for figuring it out. Somewhere along the road you probably learned that others can just slow you down in getting to the solultion and you did better if they just left you alone. But this is not the same road; its an insteresting side path and there are several of us traveling at about the same time so it will be more fun if we share and lend our helping hands along the way.

Pivot Queen...that fits you perfectly!!! We will have fun learning new "stuff" so that we can then ask why everyone isn't blogging, just like we ask "what do you mean you don't use Excel????"
